All the sports cars that we have known about till now are two-seater with least storage capacity.
But today we will explore the 4 seat hybrid sports car (Grand Tourer) that is Koenigsegg Gemera. Koenigsegg Gemera is an upcoming limited edition four-seater plug-in hybrid sports car, unveiled on 3 March 2020 at an online broadcast by Koenigsegg. It is the first hybrid car with 4 seats in the world, designed by famous designer Sasha Selipanov.

Specifications of Koenigsegg Gemera
Engine
Koenigsegg Gemera is powered by a 2.0 L Koenigsegg TFG twin-turbocharged 3 cylinder engine generating a power output of 600 PS (441 kW; 592 hp) and 600 N⋅m (443 lb-ft) of torque, and 3 electric motors placed on both rear wheels and one on crankshaft; generating the combined total power output of 1,700 PS (1,250 kW; 1,677 hp) and 3,498 N⋅m (2,580 lb-ft) of torque.
Koenigsegg nicknamed the 2.0 L twin-turbocharged engine as Tiny Friendly Giant.
Although it is a hybrid car but it sounds incredible. The reason behind it’s sound is it’s exhaust. It is accompanied with a titanium exhaust system manufactured by Akrapovič.
Interior
The Koenigsegg Gemera is accompanied by two huge central touchscreens (13.0 inches, one in front and one in back), with a cluster screen (Screen behind the steering wheel) and two other screens for the side and rearview cameras. The cluster screen rotates with the rotation of the steering wheel. So, the correct speed and other details are displayed correctly at the time when the steering wheel is rotated.
The hybrid car also features 4 hot and 4 cold cup holders, Wireless phone charging (Both front and Rear), WiFi connection, Infotainment system, and a high-quality audio system with 11 speakers along with Apple CarPlay.
It is also accompanied by the Internet connection that provides unlimited internet for a lifetime in the car. The car owner is provided with a sim at the time of purchase of the car.
Other Specifications
Mostly the latest powerful sports cars are fully electric cars. But Gemera is partially electric car. So, I would like to ask Christian von, why didn’t he make Gemera a fully electric car? The reason behind this might be that he wanted to have that beastly sound of the car.
Koenigsegg Gemera is the first four seat sports car with an ample amount of storage. It can store 4 adult carry-on luggage: one at the front and 3 in the trunk. There is no sports car with such large amount of space.
Performance of Koenigsegg Gemera
The Gemera can reach a claimed top speed of 400 km/h (249 mph) and accelerates from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in just 1.9 seconds, making it one of the fastest accelerating car in the world. In electric mode, the car can attain a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph) on a 16 kWh battery pack.
Koenigsegg Gemera has a claimed electric range of 50 km (31 mi) on a 16 kWh battery pack, while in hybrid mode, the range extends to 950 km (590 mi). The car can run on both E85 biofuel and gasoline.
Like SSC Tuatara, the suspension level of the Koenigsegg Gemera can also be lowered or raised to improve the performance of the car. This helps the driver to drive and handle the car perfectly in different driving conditions.
For example, the driver can raise the suspension to clear the speed bumps.
