Since the launch of Hyundai Creta, demand for this SUV in India is at its peak. The market for the car is more than the units produced, which also lead to the black marketing of the vehicle.
So, Hyundai decided to launch a new SUV, which will tend to bring back the market to an equilibrium level. This lead to the production of the Hyundai Alcazar.
Hyundai is back in form in the 7-seater market in India after too long. Hyundai Terracan and the Santa Fe were the last seven-seater SUVs launched in India.
