The Hennessey Venom F5 is targeting to achieve the title of the fastest car in the world and the top speed of 311 mph.
So, to ensure the safety and stability of both the vehicle and driver, it’s aerodynamics must be taken into consideration.
To avoid aerodynamic stresses, this supercar is designed expertly and perfectly with the drag coefficient of Cd=0.33, low compared to other sports cars.
So, it can achieve its goal with maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
The car is accompanied by the Brembo brakes and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires with the chassis and body almost made up of carbon fiber.
It weighs 1,338 kg (2,950 lb) with an RPM limit of 8,200. The intercooler is placed between the plenum and cylinder heads which helps in lowering the high temperatures from the engine.
The Hennessey F5 is unofficially one of the fastest cars in the world with a claimed top speed of 301 mph. It ranks on number two in the list of top 10 fastest cars in the world
The sports car can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2 seconds (within a blink of an eye) that is 0.5 seconds faster than the Hennessey GT.
The Hennessey Venom F5 can also accelerate from 0–186 mph (0–300 km/h) in a time of under 10 seconds and from 0–249 mph (0–400 km/h) in less than 20 seconds.
This super car can accelerate from 0-249 and then deaccelerate back to 0 mph in less than 30 seconds.
The company planned to begin the production of Hennessey Venom F5 in 2020.
Hennessey decided to produce only 24 units: 12 for the US and 12 for the rest of the world costing 1.8 million US dollars.
