The hypercar we will be talking about is an SSC Tuatara, manufactured by a North American company popularly known as SSC North America, formerly known as Shelby Supercars Inc. SSC tuatara is the successor to the SSC Ultimate Aero. This supercar has a goal to beat the world’s speed record which currently is owned by the Koenigsegg Agera RS with the top speed of 278 miles per hour. But I want to make you clear, the Koenigsegg Agera RS is currently the official world record holder of the fastest production car. However, the new Bugatti Chiron Super Sport did go faster on their test run, going 304.77mph. The car is a modified Chiron, however, there are 30 in total going into the market so it will be a production car. It didn’t go both directions on the speed test due to safety concerns and therefore its speed test doesn’t count as official.

The hypercar is powered by a 5.9-litre twin-turbo flat-plane V8 engine reaching a top speed of more than 300 mph. Its engine is invented in partnership with Nelson Racing Engines. This car weighs 1347 kilograms. The interesting thing about this car is that it can generate more horsepower than its weight.

It is capable of generating enormous 1,350 horsepower and a maximum 1,750 horsepower on E85 fuel (Ethanol), found in many places located in the United States and Europe.
