Devel Motors brought to light Devil 16 for the first time at the Dubai International Motor Show in 2013. The company partnered with Manifattura Automobili Torino and Steve Morris Engines to design the lightweight car’s frame, and high-powered engine to break world records.

The devel motors unveiled three models of the devel sixteen.
The first variant is powered by a V8 turbo engine generating 2000 horsepower. This model would cost $1.6 million.
The second model is powered by a V16 engine generating 3000 horsepower. It would cost $1.8 million.
Third, powered by an 81 mm Quad Turbo 12.3 Litre V16 engine generates an enormous power of 5007 horsepower which is more than thrice the energy produced by the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+. This variant is the topmost model of the devel 16. In this article, we will focus on this third model of the devil 16.
The devel motors claim a top speed of 350 mph (560 km/h) and 3757 lb-ft of torque for the third variant of the Devil Sixteen which is powered by a Quad Turbo 12.3 Litre V16 engine that generates an enormous power of 5007 horsepower.
This hypercar can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 1.8 seconds, one second faster than Koenigsegg Agera RS.
The combination of the V16 engine, and the design makes the car capable of reaching the top speed of more than 320 mph. This model is meant for drag racing, only track racing, and would cost $2.2 million.
The car looks extended, accentuated by how the body dives around as though every board is folded over another board. The front end remains appropriately over the top with the short yet sharp nose, the gigantic front spoiler that sits near the ground, and the unconventional way the headlights are bundled.
Move to the sides and you’re welcomed with the broad wheel curves, the all-inclusive body lines, and the plenty of admissions and air channels that are everywhere throughout the car’s body.
The Devel 16 is an inspiration from a jet. The concept car looks like a jet; it accompanies two big exhausts that look no less than that of the jet. These are very big compared to other supercars; you can even place your head in each exhaust.
The interior of the sixteen is still under development; the prototype accompanies the minimum and necessary interior that is a compulsion for every car.
Aerodynamics prevents the car from reaching massive speed. So, Devel Motors tried to design the car elongated to reduce aerodynamic stresses. Apart from this, Devil Sixteen also accompanies a front splitter, air intakes and vents for smooth airflow.
This question must have stuck in the mind of the readers what is the need for 5000 horsepower? The fastest car in the world that is Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300 also generates only 1578 horsepower.
The supers cars require less than 2000 horsepower at speeds less than 310 mph. But it requires more than 4500 horsepower to reach the top speeds of more than 320 mph.
The main reason behind this is the drag coefficient. It is less than 0.3 at speeds of less than 310 mph. But it becomes more than seven times which is more than two at high speeds of more than 320 mph. Therefore, the Devil Sixteen required 5000 horsepower to achieve massive speeds of more than 320 mph.

Devil 16 is a result of the blend of technology and innovation. This beast is powered by a Quad Turbocharging System to generate immense power of 5000 horsepower. And, Devel 16 also has high-tech cooling systems to cool down the huge amount of heat emitted from the engine.
No, Devel Sixteen is not a road-legal car because the main purpose of creating this beast was for track racing. Moreover, it is still in the testing phase and can’t be handled at intense speeds of 350 mph on streets.
