Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is the most powerful version/edition of Veyron, manufactured by Bugatti in Molsheim, France. This fast car, also known as Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport is the successor to Bugatti Veyron 16.4 and was named after the racing car driver Pierre Veyron.
The Special Edition of Bugatti Veyron was designed in Germany by the famous Volkswagen Group comprising of various best designers each being assigned the different duties.
The exterior was designed by famous designer Jozef Kabaň, with much of the technical work being conducted under the guidance of intelligent chief engineer Wolfgang Schreiber.
The sound system was designed and manufactured by the Burmester Audio system.
All the different designers were headed by the chief designer Hartmut Warkuß and everyone was to report to him. This lead to the creation of superior-subordinate relationships.
When Volkswagen obtained the Bugatti in 1998, it had an aim to create the fastest production car in the world and Bugatti Veyron Super Sport attained this goal.
The Veyron Super Sport received the title of the world’s fastest production car by reaching a top speed of 268 miles per hour at Volkswagen’s Ehra-Lessein test track in 2010.
According to Guinness World Record, the SSC Ultimate Aero achieved the title of the fastest production car in the world in 2007, timed at 256.14 mile per hour. In 2010, Bugatti took their title.

Later, Hennessey Venom GT broke the Bugatti’s record in 2014 by attaining a top speed of 270 miles per hour at the Kennedy Space Center, Florida.
Although Bugatti’s top speed record was dethroned by Hennessey GT it still ranks in the list of the top ten fastest cars in the world.

The Bugatti Veyron super sport is powered by an 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine generating the enormous 1184 horsepower @ 6000 RPM and 1500 Nm of torque @ 3000-5000 RPM.
This Veyron’s special edition produces 197 more horsepower than a regular version of Veyron.

Bugatti Veyron SuperSport is a super car. It supports a massive engine and is capable of reaching a top speed of 268 miles per hour with a lower coefficient of drag as 0.39.

The production cycle of the Veyron 16.4 Super Sport was between 2010 and 2011 with a limited number of units produced. Only 30 units of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport were produced. Although the top speed of this supercar is 268 mph it was electronically limited to 258 mph.
