Koenigsegg Jesko | Speed, Price, Records, and Specifications: Recently we have been talking a lot about some of the supercars such as Koenigsegg Agera RS, Bloodhound LSR, etc. Today we will be talking about the fantastic limited-edition car which recently has been added to the list of top 10 fastest cars in the world. The hypercar we will be talking about is a Koenigsegg Jesko, designed beautifully by the most famous Swedish company known as Koenigsegg. It was presented at Geneva Motor Show in 2019. The hypercar is the successor of Koenigsegg Agera and was named after the founder’s father, Jesko Von Koenigsegg.

It costs about $2.8 million. Jesko is an expensive car, but it is capable of reaching the speed of 300 mph and hopefully will break all the difficult records set by other hypercars. It is designed expertly with minimum aerodynamic stresses. So, it can achieve its goal with maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Koenigsegg is very confident about Jesko; it will reach the speed above 300 mph. The company also claims that it will go 0-400-0 in less than 30 seconds.
If the Koenigsegg Jesko crosses 300 mph, it will become the fastest street legal car with a top speed of 300 mph / 480 kph. Unlike its predecessors, it is legal to drive in the streets.
It may break the records set by Koenigsegg Agera RS. The Agera RS set the record two years ago, reaching a massive speed of 278 mph.
The Jesko would break the two years old record by reaching the massive speed of above 300 mph. The Agera RS completed 0-400-0 km/h in 33 seconds; the company hopes that Jesko will achieve the same in under 30 seconds.

Koenigsegg Jesko uses the same engine used in Koenigsegg Agera RS. The hypercar is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine, weighing 189 kilograms, supported by turbochargers, generating a massive and maximum power of 1280 (955 kW) hp on standard fuel. It is also capable of producing enormous power of 1600 horsepower (1195 kW) on E85 fuel (ethanol), found in many places located in the United States and Europe.
The Jesko supports a better transmission system than its predecessors, i.e., Koenigsegg Agera RS. It is powered by a 7-clutch 9-speed transmission that uses compound gears – 6 clutches = 3*3 = 9 forward gears, and one clutch for reverse. The transmission used is popularly known as Light Speed Transmission (LST)
Koenigsegg Jesko is going to be the fastest street legal car in the world. So, to ensure the safety and stability of both the vehicle and driver, it’s aerodynamics must be taken into consideration. To avoid aerodynamic stresses, this supercar is designed expertly. The car is accompanied by an enlarged front splitter and a rear boomerang-shaped wing. These help in generating 800 kg of downforce @ 250 kilometers per hour, 1000 kg of downforce @ 275 km/h and a maximum downforce of 1400 kg.
The rear steering wheel is an essential feature in this car. People face problems while turning the vehicle left or right. So, keeping in mind this problem, Koenigsegg included this feature in the Jesko. The steering wheel not only turns the front wheels but also turns the rear wheels, left or right.
Koenigsegg Jesko is capable of reaching a high speed of 300 mph. It can generate a massive torque of 1,500Nm @ 5,100 RPM and 1000 Nm @ 2700 RPM. Jesko can generate a massive and maximum power of 1280 (955 kW) hp on normal fuel and 1600 horsepower (1195 kW) on E85 fuel (ethanol), found in many places located in the United States and Europe.
The production of Koenigsegg Jesko began in 2019 and is limited to 125 units. All the 125 units produced in 2019 were sold for $2.8 million and have already received more orders. The company decided to manufacture 40-50 units every year. Unlike its predecessors, this hypercar will be homogenous in every country.
The Koenigsegg Jesko is the fastest street-legal car with a top speed of 300 mph / 480 kph. Unlike its predecessors like Koenigsegg Agera RS, it is legal to drive in the streets of the US.
