A few weeks before we have talked about one of the fastest cars in the world that is Rimac C2. Today we will explore its predecessor that is Rimac Concept One.
Rimac Concept one is the one who achieved the title of the fastest accelerating electric vehicle in the world in 2013.
The Concept One was introduced at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show and afterward shown at the 2012 Paris Concours d’Elegance, where it received a positive reaction by the overall population and expected clients. The vehicle was set to cost US$ 980,000 once the sequential production started in 2013. A restricted production of eighty-eight units was to be offered. The primary vehicle was delivered to an unknown Spanish client in January 2013.
Rimac participated at the 2015 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb with a 1,100 kW (1,500 PS; 1,500 hp) profoundly customized form called the E-Runner Concept_One. The vehicle came in just short of the leader generally going up against ICE vehicles. The driver was the various Pikes Peak victor Nobuhiro Tajima.
After a progression of steady enhancements, the last form of the vehicle was presented at the March 2016 Geneva Motor Show. In 2017, the Concept One participated at the Goodwood Festival of Speed just because, breaking the EV speed record on a timed track.
Rimac Concept One also called Concept_One is a two-seat electric hypercar manufactured by Rimac Automobili in Croatia. Rimac C1 is designed by two famous designers: Adriano Mudri designed the exterior and Goran Popović designed the interior of the car.

Rimac Concept car is powered by the torque vectoring system; 4 liquid-cooled magnet synchronous electric motors are placed at each wheel making it the all-wheel drive.
All the 4 electric motors generate a massive power output of 1224 horsepower (1,241 PS; 913 kW) and 1,600 N⋅m (1,180 lb-ft) of torque and a 90 kWh Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide battery powers them, giving the Rimac Concept One an electric range of 217 miles (349 km).
Dual clutch two speed transmission powers the rear electric motors and front motors are powered by the single speed transmission system.
There were performance increments in the Rimac Concept One presented at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show: the acceleration time from 0-62 mph was optimized from 2.6 seconds to 2.4 seconds and an increase in the electric range from 330 to 350 kilometers (205 to 217 miles).
Rimac Concept one accelerates as fast as the Bugatti Chiron does. The hyper car takes 2.5 seconds to accelerate from 0–62 mph (0–100 km/h), 0–200 km/h (124 mph) in 6 seconds, and 300 km/h (186 mph) in 14 seconds.
Although Concept_One can reach the top speed of 412 km/h / 258 mph, it’s electronically to 340 km/h (211 mph).
Rimac produced the limited number of the Rimac Concept One. The vehicle was set to cost US$ 980,000 once the sequential production started in 2013. A restricted production of eighty-eight units was to be offered. The primary vehicle was delivered to an unknown Spanish client in January 2013.
