  • I would think hyenas don't hunt pronghorn because hyenas are in Africa and Pronghorn are only in North America. The Atlantic and Pacific oceans get in the way big time. America does have "mountain lions", but not the African variety. The American mountain lion (cougar, painter, catamount, etc.) are classified as the largest of the small cats (which purr).
